Side-to-Side Collision on CTE Involving Motorcycle and Hyundai Elantra

Incident Brief:

On September 17, 2024, at 09:01 AM, an abrupt lane change led to a side-to-side collision on the CTE towards the city, just before the Balestier exit. A Honda CBR1000 motorcycle (#FBL658R) collided with a Hyundai Elantra (#SMA3480T).

An ambulance was immediately on the scene, providing assistance. The motorcyclist changed lanes too quickly and did not notice the Hyundai also changing lanes.
